  • Innovative Learning Technology Initiative (ILTI)

    Ilti logo

    ILTI was started in 2013 as a direct response to Governor Brown’s plan to increase access to high-demand, needed courses for UC undergraduates. ILTI helps UC undergraduates:

    • Get the courses they need when they need them;
    • Satisfy degree requirements, and;
    • Graduate in a timely manner.

    To date, ILTI has funded over 350 fully online and hybrid courses across at the nine undergraduate campuses. Developed courses have been offered over 600 times, and enrolled more than 150,000 UC students at their own (home) campus. In addition, 6,000 UC students have taken courses at other UC campuses (cross-campus).

    The cross-campus website represents an integral component of ILTI’s program. It provides information to UC students about how the cross-campus program works, and a course search function for students to find and enroll in courses they need. The course search function is powered by the Cross-Campus Enrollment System (CCES). CCES was developed in alignment with the University’s ongoing commitment to providing UC students access to our world-class faculty as part of a quality undergraduate education.

    ILTI employs sound pedagogical strategies and knowledge of how students learn to create UC-quality undergraduate online courses and online modules for hybrid courses. ILTI supports UC campuses to enhance the use of learning technology, digitized assets and instructional innovation.

    To learn more about how the program and cross-campus enrollment works, please visit our cross-campus website.  Be sure to check the website soon as we will be adding a list of online courses offered by all UC Summer Sessions!
